If this wasn’t the year of dances, the pool palace, the motorcycle dance, lean with it rock with it, the dance songs were fun and oh yeah were they crunk!īecause of Dem Franchize Boys guys were rocking the long white tees and overly baggy pants and that was cool.I’m sorry you had to go through all this trouble Fizz, damn…lemme buy your book. Read previous post: Lets Talk About The Ghost Of Danity Kane If I reunion can’t be done with all four members just don’t do it. With all the drama that came out thanks to Raz-B a few years ago, I rather not have anything else tarnish the B2K name. I can’t even explain to you guys the feeling I get inside when I think of my B2K memories. Just don’t let your ego take over O, because we don’t need another incident like the Namibian Boycott.
So I definitely see Omarion still feeling like he has to prove himself as a respected, top force not to be messed with in the R&B male game. I also always say that Omarion was just feet away from becoming the it new guy - he had the songs, he had the moves and the looks but then Chris Brown came along and overshadowed everyone. Omarion has had success on his own and maybe he wants to just move away from the B2K brand be known as Omarion and not Omarion, formally of B2K - and lets be honest, the B2K brand has been tarnished in the years since their disbandment. I just wish he was going about it a different way but I don’t blame him for not wanting to partake in a reunion. Omarion was a vital part of the group so him wanting to be ghost does effect everyone else. If he doesn’t want to be apart of it just tell him no and he won’t have to keep trying to reach out. Speaking of Omarion, I do feel a way about him ignoring Fizz. They already have a strike against them with Omarion not wanting to take part so already nobody is gonna take it seriously. I just don’t believe music from a grown B2K will turn out well. It was a great period in music and at the time they were the only young black R&B group. I just don’t think that would work out well. If Fizz’ plan was to reboot the group and make new music then i’m a bit iffy. If I can be honest, a B2K reunion would be great if they’re going on tour with their old songs. Since i’m not watching the show, I have no idea where Raz-B fits into all of this, but i’ll even have him back too. If it’s not the original members then I don’t want it. I wasn’t for Ray being apart of the group when there was speculation in 2004. Wether their was talks back then about Ray joining the team - Boog is very clear now that Ray is not B2K and I don’t blame him. At the premiere of You Got Served, when asked about it during an interview it was J-Boog who said and I quote, “Lets just say that Ray-J is apart of our family now.” (Don’t challenge me on this, I have VHS tapes.) Strangely enough I find the Ray J situation comical because I remember way back when B2K freshly broke up that there were rumors of Ray J replacing Omarion in the group. Fizz then asks if Ray J would like to join B2K and well that didn’t sit well with J-Boog. Well there’s no need for me to get my panties in a bunch about it because it’s not happening.įizz wants to bring the group back together, but it seems the one member who is stopping this from happening is Omarion who has been ignoring Fizz each time he reaches out. Due to force cord cutting I missed the majority of the recent Hollywood season so imagine my surprise when I kept seeing talk about a B2K reunion. Now where have I been? Living under a rock obviously because I had no idea of the happenings on, Vh1′s Love and Hip Hop Hollywood.
